ZAK Sound has announced the release of Tango, a curated library for the Raizes Player engine built upon a foundational trio of bandoneón, violin, and double bass.
While rooted in the traditional history of the Río de la Plata, the collection is designed specifically for the modern producer. By blending raw, organic performances from seasoned session musicians with experimental sound design, Tango provides a toolkit tailored for cinematic scores, dramatic underscore, and contemporary textural production.
To capture the authentic spirit of the genre, ZAK Sound recorded three professional musicians: Lisette Grosso (bandoneón), Nacho Gobbi (violin), and Fermín Suárez (double bass).
ZAK Sound explains:
The library goes beyond traditional arrangements; the high-fidelity source material was processed to reveal hidden layers, resulting in a suite of modern, ambient presets that maintain the DNA of the original instruments while transforming them into textures for experimental production.
Tango is a genre defined by its distinct emotional depth, born in the late 1880s in the bustling ports of the Río de la Plata. It is a style that carries the soul of Argentina and Uruguay, giving the region its unique musical identity and character.
