Klevgrand has announced the release of OneShot2, a substantial evolution of their drum sampling concept.
Two years ago Klevgrand released OneShot, a drum sampler with focus on nuance, dynamics, playability and realism. OneShot2 comes packed with completely new features, a whole lot of new factory sounds and presets and there’s also an iPhone companion app available for playing shakers, scrapers, brushes or other continuous percussive sounds.
A whole new motion engine
OneShot at its core is built around a highly sophisticated drum engine designed for single hits. With OneShot2 Klevgrand pushed things further and introduced a Motion engine that allows the user to create phrases that breathe and evolve over time.
Thanks to this unique feature, anyone can craft timed cymbal swells, shaker figures, foley movements, and virtually any rhythmic sound that you can think of all controlled via a sophisticated envelope editor or external MIDI.
Motion Controller App (iPhone <-> Mac only)
OneShot2 comes with a new optional iPhone-app that lets you control the Motion engine directly with your hand. Engage the External sync mode in OneShot2 when playing a motion sound and you’re now able dictate the sound directly with your iPhones accelerometer (Currently works with iPhone connected to Mac only).
More Sounds
OneShot2 introduces a large collection of new presets and sounds, taking advantage of the new Motion Engine, but also greatly expanding the already extensive collection of multi-sampled percussive sounds. In total, OneShot2 now includes 310+ Presets, 780+ Slots and over 20,000 samples. Among the new factory sounds of OneShot2 you’ll find a new Studio Kit (acoustic drums) and a brand new Jazz Brush Kit. You will also find a large collection of new percussion instruments, nature sounds and other rhythmic stuff, all making use of the new Motion engine.
Pricing
OneShot2 is on intro sale at $119.99 until the end of April 2026 and will then cost $199.99.
Upgrading from OneShot1 during intro sale is $39.99, and after $59.99.
