SonikStation has updated SonikSearch to v2.1, adding Windows 10 and Windows 11 support (64-bit, Intel and ARM) to the sample library manager.
SonikSearch was previously available for macOS (Catalina and later, Intel and Apple Silicon). With this update, the plugin and standalone application are now available on all major desktop platforms.
SonikSearch
SonikSearch analyzes sample libraries automatically in the background, extracting BPM, musical key, loop/one-shot classification, category (31 subcategories across 7 groups), and audio characteristics including brightness, warmth, harmonicity, attack, crest factor, RMS energy, and duration.
Features include stackable search filters, a « Find Similar Sounds » function with adjustable per-parameter weighting, real-time timestretching and key transposition during playback, duplicate detection with an adjustable similarity threshold, and bulk metadata editing across folders.
Pricing & Availability
SonikSearch is available as a VST3 plugin, Audio Unit plugin, and standalone application. The standalone version includes Ableton Link support. DAW plugin versions sync transport and tempo with the host automatically.
SonikSearch is priced at $89 USD. A 14-day refund is available.
