Minor Drama has announced the release of version 1.2 of their free SendBlender wet/dry mix knob plugin. Starting with this version, the Pro Tools AAX format is provided in addition to the existing AU and VST3 formats. This update applies to both the standard free edition and the more advanced edition of the plugin, SendBlender Pro, which allows wet/dry blending in the frequency domain and across the stereo image.
Both plugins are designed to improve parallel processing workflows, enabling faster, better mix decisions when applying FX processors in parallel with a dry, unprocessed signal, by providing loudness-compensated wet/dry blending for any FX chain.
User Interface Updates
SendBlender now sports a scalable user interface which remains sharp at any zoom level due to the use of high quality vector graphics. Mouse wheel input is also enabled for all controls. Both features are configurable via the new settings menu, which also provides access to license management and other functions.
Level Matching Improvements
An essential feature for loudness-compensated blending, both the Standard and Pro editions of the plugin have provided automatic and manual level matching features since version 1.1. New in this version, the level matching UI has been substantially improved to better indicate the status of the level matching system. The performance of the level matching system has also been highly tuned, keeping CPU usage low in all use cases.

$49 for the Pro version which is also available for a 30-day trial with no feature restrictions. The Standard edition is free.
