KERN Audio has released Check, a free real-time mono compatibility analyzer that shows exactly which frequencies collapse when summed to mono.
Unlike traditional correlation meters that display a single number, Check provides a spectral curve across 40 ERB-spaced frequency bands, making it possible to identify whether bass, mids, or highs are causing mono compatibility issues.
