Virharmonic has opened pre-orders for their new Bohemian Bass Core.
The Bohemian Series is Virharmonic’s solo string collection which use Virtual Performer tech to auto select articulations as you play. It can also transform a solo performance into trio and chamber size sections.
Virharmonic’s Virtual Performer enables users to create music without the need to program, key-switches are available for more nuanced composing.
The new Double Bass is the fourth instrument in the expanding Bohemian Series.
Why Virharmonic added « Core » to the Bohemian Bass name
As there are no extended articulations in the Double Bass this makes it slightly different compared to its Bohemian siblings, so Virharmonic decided to highlight this with the addition of the name « Core » as it contains the main core foundations of the Bohemian Series, this is also reflected in its lower price.
Bohemian Bass Core Includes
- Longs: arc, mid arc, sustain, marcato, diminuendo and non-vibrato.
- Shorts: staccato, spiccato, pizzicato.
- Legatos: two variations of in phrase on-bow legatos and two variations of in phrase bow-change legatos.
- Bowing: lasting bow, down bow, up bow, auto re-bow.
- Moods: Improv, Emotive and Assertive.
All with round robins, real up bow down bow recordings, multiple dynamics, all captured chromatically and includes all the standard functions that come with the Bohemian Series.

- The Virtual Performer enables easy live play, Auto selecting the bow types, legatos and bow positions based on your play style.

Bohemian Bass Core is available for the pre-order price of € 99.00 (Reg. € 139.00). Existing Virharmonic subscribed customers have been sent an additional pre-order discount code to get the Bohemian Bass Core for €79.00.
